Auxilio AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE DAILY WAGE INCREASE OF FIFTEEN ( P15.00) PESOS PER DAY FOR JOB ORDER WORKERS, CONTRACTUAL AND CONTRACT OF SERVICE WORKERS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TRINIDAD, BOHOL EFFECTIVE AUGUST 16, 2008- BE IT ORDAINED by the Sangguniang Bayan of Trinidad, Bohol in session duly assembled that: SECTION I. SCOPE- Any person working on JOB ORDER, CONTRACTUAL AND CONTRACT OF SERVICE status in the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Trinidad, Bohol is covered in the daily wage increase in the amount of fifteen (P15.00) pesos per day in consonance with the pertinent provisions of Section 81 of the Local Government Code of 1991 also known as Republic Act 7160. SECTION II. DEFINITION OF TERMS – When used in this ordinance the following terms shall have the following corresponding meaning: A.
| JOB ORDER WORKER- a person assigns to perform a piecework or intermittent job of short duration not exceeding six months on a daily basis; | B.
| CONTRACTUAL WORKER – a person who shall undertake a specific work or job for a limited period not to exceed one year. | C.
| CONTRACT OF SERVICE WORKER - a person whose work covers lump sum work or services such as janitorial, security or consultancy services where no employer- employee relationship exist. | | | |
SECTION III . OBJECTIVE – This Ordinance is ordained for the following grounds, viz: A.
| To respond to the ever-growing prices of prime commodities and other items which are very basic in terms of necessity to our life. | B.
| More than eighty percent (80%) of the total number of JOB ORDER AND CONTRACTUAL WORKERS in the LGU of Trinidad, Bohol has sent their children to school. | C.
| As manifested through the factual predicament in life and real background of almost all people in the cross section of the society of which JOB ORDER, CONTRACTUAL AND CONTRACT OF SERVICE WORKERS are integral parts of its nature. As to the solution of emancipating from the intense suffering of poverty that has proliferated nationwide nowadays, an effective measure shall be provided to all JOB ORDER, CONTRACTUAL AND CONTRACT OF SERVICE WORKERS by way of increasing the earnings of the aforesaid level of positions in the LGU Trinidad to counter the incessant rising of cost of living expenses that resulted much on high daily expenditures. | D.
| The specified jurisdictions have complied with the metes and bounds of the different aspects that require financial support to be able to cope up with the exigency of time. |
